Featured Class: Mixed Media Tape Tranfer Tags
by Jeri Parks, MCC Founder - Wednesday, 3 February 2010, 11:50 AM

tags

Hello fellow creative friends,

I just wanted to add my two cents before you review Lesley's classes. Lesley joined the MCC faculty last year and I can tell you I am amazed at the level of detail she adds to her classes. For example, the first week of her Tape Transfer Tags class includes 19 videos demonstrations. While the students to work on tags, the techniques she teaches can be used again and again on any mixed media or paper crafting project.

Per my request Lesley will be offering a image transfer class this spring. If you have ever tried image transferring you know how difficult this process can be. I know Lesley will thoroughly explore this topic and walk you through each and every step.

See you in the classroom,

Paper Arts Highlights
by Shirley Pando, MCC Faculty and Support - Saturday, 30 January 2010, 01:15 PM

Hello!

One final category to highlight....Paper Arts. This 'small' category packs a lot of punch, including four new classes. And speaking of punches, get the most out of yours with Catherine Matthews-Scanlon. Catherine is on the EK Success design team and gets plenty of playtime with their fabulous punches.

MCC is very excited to have Donna Maligno joining us this semester. She teaches Tea Bag Folding on the East coast and her work is beautiful. If you have ever wanted to to try this technique now is the time.

You can also let out your inner grunge with two classes from Samantha Star; Let's Get Grungy and All About Grungy Little Me. Be prepared to get dirty!

Finally, if you are looking for a quick class to get your crafting year off to a great start, check out Donna Ross's Valentine's Treats.

by Jeri Parks, MCC Founder - Thursday, 28 January 2010, 09:19 PM

I love all of our returning faculty, but it is always nice to bring in new friends. MCC has four new faculty joining us for the spring semester. I wanted to take a minute to do a quick introduction.

Sandy Hulsart-Sandy will be offering two classes with MCC this spring. She specializes in scenic stamping and her work is outstanding. We also talked her into offering a brayer class. I own a brayer....and I have no idea how to use it. So is this describes you, be sure to check out Sandy's classes.

Deena Ziegler-Deena is currently on the Sizzix design team and has been teaching paper crafting for over 8 years. Her classes will focus on getting the most of out your Sizzix machine.

Donna Maligno-Donna will be offering one class this spring. She specializes in teabag folding and has been teaching her special techniques for the past 4 years.

We are also excited to announce that Diana Crick will be joining us later in the spring. Diana is the owner of Scor-Pal. Watch for more information regarding Diana's classes coming in the future.
